Saawaan is a contemporary Thai fine dining restaurant located in the heart of Bangkok. Set in a converted shop house in a leafy alley off Sathorn Road, Chef de cuisine and owner Sujira ‘Aom’ Pongmorn serves a seasonal 9-course tasting menu following the format of a traditional Thai meal and taking inspiration from Thailand’s rich street food culture and varied regional cuisine, each dish is made using a cooking method commonly found in Thai cooking, such as fermenting, boiling, stir-frying and charcoal grilling.
